Remember the rumours in the beginning of december 2009 about the HTC Bravo ? Well, they have resurfaced again.
What would be a better Android Superphone as the Nexus One ? You guessed it, a Nexus One with HTC’s cool Sense UI. The HTC Bravo seems on track to be launched in March by telecom operator 3 in Sweden. The Bravo is said to have the same Snapdragon 1 GHz processor, 5MP camera and 3.7-inch OLED screen as the Nexus One. I do seem to remember to have seen somewhere that it would only have 256MB RAM as opposed to the 512MB for the Nexus One but at my age my memory might be playing tricks on me <grin>
I was planning to buy a Nexus One on my next trip home to the States end of this month (not yet available here in Germany) but I really love the Sense UI so I might wait a little longer… or should I wait until a phone comes out with a Snapdragon 1.5GHz Dual-Core ? Then again, I installed Manup456′s Eclair (2.1) v1.5 on my trusted HTC Magic this morning and I must say I am impressed… it will be my new daily-use ROM for the next uhm… well… until something better comes out.

That’s exactly how i feel about the Nexus One … and I’m sure many people do after having tried Sense .. sure good ol’ Cyano will shell out Sense on the N1 ….
I see (and experience) the Sense UI as semi-functional (time, news, weather, cramped widget apps) eye candy. I’d get rid of it if the default Android UI was an option. The only widgets I use are the Google search widget and the power control widget. The rest aren’t necessary and only slow the phone down for all other functions…..same applies to Sense UI. Yes, it’s pretty…..but not as useful as a fast, simple phone.
@linuxlover I see where you are coming from but it’s like computers, now that processing power and memory is abundant & cheap, why not give the eye a treat ? Another analogy would be the makeup your wife/g’friend wears, the package is the same but it looks better
