If you are on Verizon’s network and you have Moto Droid, this should be exciting news to you!
As you may or may not know yet but yesterday Verizon started rolling out an OTA update. This update is pretty heavy and weighs in 61.4 Mb. When the update is downloaded it does absolutely nothing to your phone as its not even installed. At this point it’s only a patch thats required for the 2.1 to be rolled out. And I would be looking forward to seeing another update very shortly with part 2 of the patch and possibly release keys to get this update installed.
What does this mean? 2.1 is in it’s final stage and almost ready to be released, the first patch is most likely the part of the 2.1 build that is ready for prime time. So hang tight, grab some popcorn and wait patiently for the 2.1 one to arrive.

It is Jan28 and still nothing. What a bunch of Fags, this 2.0 device is buggy and I am missing the Blackberry Storm I gave up. The BB Forum dudes said “They always come back” Google, dont make us prove them right.

I’m coming from an Env touch and a Blackberry World Edition. I can’t really say I’m disappointed with the phone, as this is definitely the most capable phone I’ve had yet.
I am anti Apple so even though I’m definitely astonished by my friends “haxed iphone” I had to buy the Iphone killer.
2.1 is already working on the HTC Android phones and there SHOULD NOT be so many advantages of having the 99 dollar smart phone over the 199 dollar beast.
