We brought you news that Verizon was rolling out 2.1 OTA updates for the Droid last Tuesday, but according the the official Motorola twitter account, things sound a little different…

where can we go to get the update when it is released? and what changes will we see? As we all are wondering…will it include Adobe Flash). If not, where do we go for Adobe Flash?
When updates come out, it would be nice to know the changes before updating. There just might be someone who does not want the changes!! Looking forward to more reasons to love my Droid.

I’m with JOHN, animated wallpaper will be cool…but for godsake fix the bluetooth dialing. That’s actually important…I shouldn’t be looking at my phone and touching buttons while driving. Voiceactivated or not…its not handsfree and its not touchfree…which makes it garbage. Looking forward to seeing a fix that actually matters.

Ya the Bluetooth dialing is nice. But why would you get a phone like the Droid if you don’t want all the cool things like the wallpapers and flash. If you jut want a good device for Bluetooth buy something else. They are not going to keep up and surpass the iPhone if they don’t push out things to make the phone fun to play with.

Droid should be legal and safe for everyone to use…in addition to being fun to play with (currently illegal in over a dozen states that have handsfree laws…because it’s not handsfree to place a call). 2.1 Obviously already exists … We need multi touch, we need these car dock issues fixed, we need a lot of things for having such a “DOES” attitude phone.

My car deck stores numbers and can use them to dial the Droids via BT. Who says it can’t dial hands free?? I never pull it out of my pocket to dial!
And multitouch…can’t wait for this so every can OG and dream of the next apple iteration they *have* to have.

Yea I wish the update was here already too because I’m in love with my Droid as well. Maybe i’m in love with my droid because I can’t relate to people since I’m a psychopath.
