FINALLY HTC releases a ROM update for the HTC Magic that adds the Sense UI, ROM Version:3.05.401.3.
If there are some brave souls out there with an un-rooted phone that want to try this out and send me some screenshots… I have a feeling that if I put this on mine, I will lose root and probably get an SPL that I don’t want !
So again, head on over to the HTC Support page and get the goodies !

Apparently this ROM was already leaked on 21 JAN 2010, read the thread on XDA on how to get this on your 32A Magic.
Had a go at downloading for HTC Magic Vodafone UK and no go.
I gather its because the UK Magic’s have lower memory specs.

I wonder if someone gives me their magic s/n and see if this will work on 32B. It should work regardless of radio I believe. either way I’m sure it will be all over the net by then of the day compatible with 32B…

I’ve had this upgrade since saturday 01/23 and yes you WILL LOSE ROOT and you will get a perfected spl and your radio will be changed again and you will be reverted back to 1.5. You do get a very stable and fast htc optimized Sense UI for the magic with its own boot animation just for the magic (nothing big it just says hTc magic instead of hero) I would give screenshots but i dont know how and i have no root access, not that i haven’t tried to get it back but im replacing my magic with another magic replacement (long story)
