OpenEclair Version 1.1.1 STABLE has been released. Many people have been reporting FC’s, problems with the Android Market and keyboard issues, as well as problems with the live wallpapers. Too many bugs had been reported so the team has reverted back the JIT. It also appears that they have removed all the wallpapers except 1.
Change Log
OpenEclair – v1.1.1 – 02/02/2010
- Reverted JIT (No longer using JIT – causes too much instability)
- Added EXT tools.
Head over to the OpenTeam’s AndroidSPIN Developer Homepage for more information and the fastest downloads around.
Don’t forget to report any issues in the OpenEclair Issues Tracker on Google Code.

Not sure what the cpu is being set at, but the LWP’s are because removing the stock ones increased the Launcher’s speed greatly
But why remove the ones that work and leave in the ones that don’t work?

I wiped and flashed and it booted normally. Didn’t notice the first boot being overly long. HTC Magic 32B. By comparison, Cyanogen Mod 4.2.14.1 flashed over existing CM took a LOT longer.
For OE v1.1.1 they appear to have included all the live wallpapers known to be broken and left out all the ones that are known to work. I downloaded three more from the Market that I know work (Earth, Starfield, Magic Universe) and they all worked just fine. Looks like someone screwed up and used the wrong list when putting the ROM together.

Is the update supposed to work with the CM Updater included in the 1.0 release? Because whenever I check for updates, it isn’t showing any of them, just Intention 1.4 and the Converter…

For the G1, you would have to flash the danger spl for this rom to work. I tried it without the spl and it got stack at the G1 boot image.
Is that right mate? thanks for tip, they should have mention it, I’ll try that.

Is there a 10mb hack in the works for this ROM. I think that would be sweet.
