It appears as though Google’s frozen treat, “Froyo”, will be followed by the spiced, baked goodness that is “Gingerbread”. In a recent blog post by Brian Swetland, Google’s “Android kernel guy”, he dropped the new codename.
This week we’re finalizing our move to 2.6.32 for the Android “Froyo” release, and we’ll likely be on .33 or .34 for “Gingerbread”.
Seeing as “Froyo” isn’t even out yet, I’m sure we have a while to wait for the “Gingerbread” to come out of the oven.

Thanks to google, I have found a possible canidate: “hummus” althought I am scared to see what android would look like if it was shaped like hummus, as hummus looks disgusting.
