OpenEclair v1.2.1 Released. Now Official support on AndroidSPIN.
The OpenAndroidTeam has released an update to the OpenEclair ROM taking it to version 1.2.1.
You now have many ways to get support and downloads for OpenEclair, including:

- Please wipe. (though may not be required)
- Multiple kernels to select from — BFS/CFS, 10mb RAM Hack or not
- Nexus One OTA Update (Android 2.1_r2)
- MT in Browser
- Fixed disappearing icon issues.
- Fixed LWPs (Except for Smoke LWP)
- Includes Launcher2, to use select “Launcher” instead of “Home” when prompted.
- LWPs are interactive while using Launcher2, though slightly buggy.
- New MMS Settings: 600kb MMS Size Limit, Max Resolution is 2048×1536, Text will not convert to MMS until 10pgs has been reached (versus 4)
- Includes HTC_IME
- Fixed Camera from the Beta`s
- Includes latest WG-Kernel v3-beta
- Include Meltus`s AudioMod v2r2
- Removed: Eugene`s Overclocking
- More that neither of us remember

is it just me .. i don’t anybody here reporting a problem with the camera… the pictuers works but when you try to take a vedio it doesn’t let you and that a big thing to me.. can you guys fix it please… also after you take the pictuer the sceren looks like it broke for a sec… so please fix it or tell me what am doing wrong thats causing it to happen

Has anyone had this ROM automatically restart on them? I know on my mytouch 3g Manup’s Eclair 2.1 v1.5 is not restarting several times a day on me. Nothing really alarming just wondering if this ROM has done the same to any of y’all.

I had the first rom.. 1.1.1 The only eclair ROM that I used for a couple of days, the Camera for me was weird it would take pictures (no video) but the thumbnail would show only static pic but the actual picture would show up in my gallery.. I wish it was as smooth as htcclay fasttest (thats what i,m running now) ROM’s

Is this meant to be for the Nexus? because it runs like crap on my g1. Maybe it doesn’t bother most people, but little issues like the phone taking 3 seconds to open up contacts and locking up for 10 – 20 seconds.. and the inevitable “force close, wait” window… this is garbage. I really don’t understand what the point of releasing another version is… test it, don’t release it.
i’m done installing this crap, I always go back to the Super D rom…

Has a long ways to go before it is worth anything. Actually impressed by how well the live wallpapers work (that ones that don’t force close). Wish have the apps that come with these ROMS just didn’t come with them. Saves space and time removing them!!!!!

I loved it. I am running 1.2.1 one of my G1s for about a week now. Yes, it is a tad bit low but not bad. It is the only way for me to develop with bluetooth support on a G1. Now I am anxiously awaiting for 1.2.2 so that I can put it on my ADP1 G1. Unfortunately, this one requires Danger SPL which I cannot put on an ADP1.
