OK, that maybe an exaggeration, but it sure is a long time. I'm also an avid Home Theater geek and self appointed installer for friends and relatives. TMobile US Can will not get it… well at least not at launch… since the Frequency would limit the phone to Edge.

TMobile US 3G frequency is 1700… They own 2100, but they do not use it.

it means no one knows yet. i wouldn’t be surprised if this gets a 1700 or 1900 band as well.

  16. T-Mobile will see this phone at the end of March. However NO SENSE UI. T-Mobile already informed that they will never have a phone running Sense UI. Instead it will run with 2.0.1

    Sad Face.

WOW…T-mobile will get this? Damn, I’m about to buy a Nexus One and now this is looming? I guess I’ll get the N1 and upgrade for the Desire in September…I like that Idea :-)

I liked the earlier design for this device much better. That one looked more like the HD2. This one is much more like the N1.
    Plus I don’t like sense.
So I’m probably going to wait for other devices or get the N1 when its available here.

I am just waiting for a sleek looking Snapdragon CPU / 512 Ram Powered Device… Which perhaps adds a physical keyboard.

And yes I am a US T-Mobile user (Cause Price is unbeatable), so I need it to be on 1700 MHz frequency

I have a Nexus ONE and I had a play with a new HTC Desire. Talk about ripped off! I want a Desire now :-/ Other troublesome things that NexusONE does NOT have such as Phone Book Access Protocol – PBAP, FM Transmitter and Receiver, and other things, the Desire has a better hardware design. Main buttons are much easier to use than the NexusONE’s capacitive buttons, and Desire’s touch screen as WAY more sensitive. Even the multi-holed speaker grill is much better on Desire and would allow more sound to escape out the the back plate compared to NexusONE’s tiny single hole. Desire also has HTC Sync software nothing like that comes with Nexus. Add that to simple and solid support one would get from an OEM compared to using help forums for NexusONE and you have a winner !
