A new version of OpenEclair has been release for public consumption. I don’t have any real details about the contents of the new release. I’m guessing it was a late night release and no one has updated the forum thread yet.
It includes all the standard features from the previous releases and more:

- AOSP 2.1r2 Eclair
- Multiple Kernels
- Nexus One Voice Input
- Live Wallpapers
- Eclair HTC_IME
- Compcache via SpareParts (including size!)
- Swap via SpareParts
- Supports G1/MT3G
- Automatic Apps2SD on G1
- 5 Screen Launcher and Launcher2 from NexusOne
- Tweaked SMS/MMS Settings
- WG-Kernel v3-beta
There is a list of known issues in the release info:
Known Issues:
- Bluetooth is broken
- Reboot into Recovery isn`t yet active
- Bootup is a little slow because of the new BootAnimation [Optimization coming soon]
- Userinit is still being overridden by SpareParts

The video doesn’t work on any eclair rom. The drivers haven’t been released. But the cameras work fine.

So much smoother than 1.2.1. Very nice, I guess I’ll have to keep this rom after all in the hopes that it can only get better!!!! Great ROM!!!!!!

Does camera work in this version? Camera didn’t work in the previous version, MT3G user.
if you are referring to video then no. if you are referring to the actual camera then yes. It worked in the previous version as well. I’m a MT3G user and it worked perfectly.

Any body has a problem with my location and time set by carrier? Time doesn’t automatically update and original weather widget can’t find location.

Broken bluetooth? It used to work just fine in v1.2.1.

it keeps telling me there is an error on my busy box when i try to flash this and my recovery image is the newest one

bluetooth Busted? It used to work in v1.2.1.but not on this upgrade so I did a little tinkering….trying to buletooth push from v1.2.1. to much force close..so went back to V1.2.1 without wipe…and WoW…many of the V1.2.2 stuff stayed…added a few of more apps (setcpu, WyContacts. ect…) and I am HAPPY..!!!! again it’s HOT.. No lag , smooth on my Classic G1.
