While Enomther’s ROMs have many advanced features built in, not all of them are activated when you first install the ROM. Instead, Enomther gives the user the choice of controlling these options themselves.
Many of the different options are now controlled using the Spareparts application.
On Enomther’s previous ROMs there was a utility called ExpSetup you could run from the Terminal prompt that allowed you to customize your ROM. The new approach is much more user friendly and will only get better as Enonther is going to incorporate a full GUI explicitly for customizing his ROMs.
As of Enomther’s TheOfficial Nexus1 v1.6.1, you can configure your options using Spareparts.
I’ve written a short Guide/Article that shows the screens and the options available.
Head over to Enomther’s Forum to read the guide.
Check out some of the options and let us know how it goes.

A similar GUI configuration tool, GUSTO (GUI Used to Setup TheOfficial), will be included with the next release of TheOfficial AOSP (and I also believe ADP and TMO) for G1 and myTouch 3G. For a sneak preview, it’s fully compatible with 2.5.1 and is available at http://gusto-latest.greentaperacing.us/. Once enomther puts out the SpareParts source (as he’s promised me) we’ll work to make the feature sets and interfaces more consistent.
