The Motorola CLIQ XT is the latest Android handset introduced by Motorola with Android 1.6 and MOTOBLUR. As you guys may know that Motorola CLIQ XT is coming to T-Mobile later this month. We try our best to keep you guys updated.
First the CLIQ XT appears with T-Mobile branding, and then in T-Mobile inventory with a price Tag of $329.99 without a contract and $129.99 on a 2-year contract , and then it appeared on the event list of T-Mobile that they will be releasing the Motorola CLIQ XT on March 10th. So 10th March is not far away but thanks to DroidSector, they got their hands on the Motorola CLIQ XT.

I spoke with the TMO store rep and they say that the 17th is when the Cliq XT will be released. According to the rep no pre-sale.
The store I called will be getting demo units in tomorrow.

it’s not a bad phone. it ships with 1.5, not 1.6. it has different software for media playback, so it’s easier to switch between music/photo/video/etc as well as streaming radio and tv. also has a custom version of swype. i like the trackpad better than htc trackballs too, although overall, i think it’s not as attractive as most other android devices already out. it’s also not nearly as shiny as in some of the photos, since the front is all rubbery. it’s a pretty comfortable phone though.

I dont think it will move as well as they would like if consumers are aware of the Android OS version. 2.x is out and Motorola is still shipping 1.5 and 1.6? What gives. I know I wont be getting one.
