Opera Mini 5 now on Android

The wait is over! While Opera Mini 5 is still in beta, it proves to be typically speedy browser that will work on Any Android device. Opera Mini 5 Beta comes with tabbed browsing, speed dial bookmarks, download manager, password manager. A helpful extra feature allows bookmark syncing between your Android device and your desktop.

Opera Mini 5 beta is available on the Android Market, by going to m.opera.com/next, or scanning the QR code.

    Well I tried OM 4 on my (rooted) Magic some time ago, and got rid of it in about 10 minutes.
    While it was a great thing to have on a small-screen dumbphone, on Android it felt definitely awkward and crippled.
    I guess I’ll give v. 5 a spin when I’m bored, but I’m not in a rush – xScope GL is quite fast, and the stock browser isn’t too bad either.
