3D Working like a charm in OpenEclair

OE 3d

Thanks to a lot of hard work by WesGarner and ChrisSoyars, 3D is now working in the latest OpenEclair beta. The closed beta is currently going through additional testing, optimizations, bugfixes, but as you can see from the screenshot from NeoCore (below), we are now able to get a very solid score of 26 frames per second in the Qualcomm-developed 3D benchmark app.

Look forward to working 3D, as well as other new features in the next public OpenEclair release.

Thanks to JAguirre1231 from the OpenEclair beta testing team for the screenshots, and feedback regarding the progress of 3D in the build.

For more information about OpenEclair, head over to the OpenEclair forums or the OpenTeam AndroidSPIN Developers Homepage for release information and downloads.
