HTC shipping Nexus One CDMA version to Verizon Wireless!
The day is near when Verizon will officially launch the Google Nexus One. 20 days ago, the FCC approved the CDMA version of the Google Nexus One, and it was rumored that it is the Verizon-ready Nexus One.
According to Chinese-language Economic Daily News, HTC is shipping the CDMA version of the Nexus One to Verizon and it will be available this month or in April. HTC will also ship the Nexus One to Vodafone UK soon.
Yesterday, on Vodafone’s website, you may have noted the addition of the Nexus One, Desire and Legend in the Coming Soon section. So maybe the Vodafone Nexus One will be available in April too.
The Verizon Nexus One will not be sold in stores, you will have to buy it directly from Google site just like with T-Mobile.

I don’t get it, if it’s not available in Verizon stores ,why shipping it to Verizon ? It should be shipped to Google instead ?

I am thinking the same thing. I think you will place order on Google site and may be Verizon will ship it or like that. HTC is shipping it to Verizon first then i think BigRed will give this phone to Google. Because HTC will do some customization with the phone
.. That’s all i think

Wouldn’t believe the news its from http://www.digitimes.com(How reliable?) or something like that. Since the VZW Equipment Guide says sold on http://www.google.com/phone its sold there. This is probably for VZW workers, replacement phones or something like that I bet.

Also could they be confusing this with the Incredible, also could be for demo phones in store because we know how Verizon can be anal about things.
