Motorola DROID Android 2.1 Update Confirmed To Start Thursday

by Simon Walker on 16th Mar 2010 -

Sounds like we have a date for the official Android 2.1 update for the Motorola DROID.  According to the guys over at AndroidCentral, the Motorola DROID Android 2.1 update will start rolling out on Thursday 18th March at Noon (EDT).

The roll out will be done in 250,000 user batches. No information on how frequently the batches will be started but I’m sure the usual members of the community will get their hands on the download link and have some thing available for you before you can blink an eye lid.

If you hear anything or you receive this update, leave us a comment!
