Samsung-Galaxy-S-Pro-QWERTY

One of the main reasons I still have a G1 is the keyboard. More and more devices seem to be moving towards a seamless design but really, you can’t beat a good keyboard.

That’s why I’m a little excited about a rumor floating around that the Samsung Galaxy is going pro. Well, a pro version that is. The above image is just a mock-up, though there is talk of a similar version hitting stores this summer. If it looks anything like this, I might be tempted to finally say goodbye to my trusty G1.

Oh, and if any HTC people are reading this, how about a Nexus One Pro?

  1. Using the beta of Swype on my G1 has finally convinced me that my next phone need not have a keyboard.

yum yum new phones with keyboards with swype or not i still want keyboards( duh, u can play gameboid)…mmmmm nexus pro mmmmmm…..

+1 to that. I can type a million times faster on my G1 keyboard than I can on any soft keyboard. Haven’t tried swype yet (don’t know if I ever will) but I’d wager I can type faster and more accurately on my G1 keybaord when it comes to composing full-length emails and such than I could (or anyone reasonable could) on swype or other soft keyboards.
