Nexus One Car Mount – Now Available

As a follow up to Simon’s article, just wanted to spread the word that the car mount for the nexus one is indeed available. After a much anticipated, and overbearing wait, the car mount is ripe for the picking through Google Checkout. At a purchase price of $55 it should come as no surprise, that this piece of hardware will be worth the money. Combined with Google Maps Navigation, this is sure to be one of the best add-ons for the Google golden-boy.

For a quick breakdown, if one were to buy say the Nexus One recommended package you would look at spending roughly $740 dollars if you purchased the device unsubsidized and about $340 if you purchased the device subsidized. This isn’t really a package, but it does include in the cost the desk dock, car mount, and a spare battery. For you T-Mobile customers, don’t forget the price may be a little more for you now that you can buy official accessories directly from your local store.
