The wait is almost over. Phandroid has gotten a hold of a Verizon internal document that indicates a big announcement is coming Monday. This makes sense after Verizon dropped some none too subtle hints a few days ago. If you’ve forgotten, here are some of the juicer specs:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon at 1 GHz
  • Android 2.1 with Sense UI
  • 576MB RAM/512MB ROM
  • 3.7-inch AMOLED at 480×800.
  • 8MP camera with flash.
  • 1300 mAh battery
  • Proximity Sensor
  • Light sensor
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Micro SD expandable to 32GB
  • 3.5mm headphone jack

If that’s not enough to wet your whistle, check out the 360 render. Granted, this is just a mock-up, but it appears to be a pretty finished design.

YOUR SCOOP IS LIKELY UNTRUE. THE VERIZON MEMO/POSTER SHOWN ON OUR FORUM DID NOT SPECIFICALLY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE!!!! IT IS MORE LIKELY TO BE THE MICROSOFT PINK. It would probably be a good idea for you to edit this as it is likely untrue, before it goes viral.

    Thank you.

Learn to read before you claim something as a source. The announcement is most likely the MS Pink phones on Monday. Nowhere on Phandroid did it say the incredible would be announced/launched on Monday.

As the 2 before me said, the announcement on Monday has pretty much jack to do with the Incredible. The closest you get to the incredible in that mailer is IF, IF Verizon announces phones over the next few weeks and that is the Journey they are talking about.

Cracks me up about the Images you show… Your comment is “this is just a mock-up, but it appears to be a pretty finished design”

They are FAKE! Non-representative of what the phone actually looks like.
