The Vonage Mobile app for the compatible Android™ OS Phone is free to download and once you’ve installed it you are ready to start calling.

Their unique software allows you to dial directly or dial through your existing contacts. When the app is open, it recognizes you’re making an international call and automatically routes it through the Vonage network. With the Vonage World Mobile plan you get unlimited international calls to over
60 countries, and great low rates everywhere else using only your local cell phone minutes. When you’re in a WiFi hotspot, you use no wireless minutes at all.

Why should you get Vonage Mobile for the Android™ OS Phone?
  • Make unlimited international calls

  • Works over cellular across the U.S.

  • Works over WiFi in the U.S. and around the world

I am a personal fan of Vonage, as well I think this is great because you can save on minutes, which in turn saves money.

What do you think? Will you use this app and Vonage services? Let us know below.

I dont see any use in it unless you make intl calls, and then I’m not even sure it works.

But for U.S. calls within the U.S., even when connected to wifi, it used my carrier (T-Mobile) and wouldn’t route calls as VOIP.

I thought T-Mobile had done us a huge favor. That surprised me. But turns out it doesn’t do just a whole lot. Disappointed.

looks like this app isn’t available in the UK :( anyone know whether this allows you to receive incoming calls to your Vonage number?
