The guys and gals over at WireFly are always hard at work evaluating the latest and greatest phones and they have written a nice little summary comparison of the Google Nexus One vs HTC Incredible.

In several critical areas, the HTC Incredible is the Nexus One trapped in a different body. Both devices are Android-powered phones made by HTC, and share the same amount of RAM and same 1GHz Snapdragon processor. While the Google Nexus One runs the vanilla version of Android known widely as the Google Experience, the Incredible uses HTC’s custom-designed user interface built over top of Android. The Incredible also has a more powerful camera than the Nexus One

I’m ready for a state side device with the power of the Nexus One running Sense UI, aren’t you?

  1. A Sense UI ROM for Nexus One (that ISN’T an Alpha release) is what will eventually get me to root my phone. I’ve been avoiding that so far because of the warranty void and the fact that there is little of interest in the other ROMS out there, but as soon as the MoDaCo ROM is stable enough to run full time and out of Alpha (and preferably out of Beta) I’ll take the plunge. I’m trying to be patient, but so far I’m failing….
