HTCClay Has released a new version of his SuperFast ROM for the T-Mobile G1 / T-Mobile MyTouch3G bringing it to version 1.3.

A major cleanup.
-Updated Eliot Stocker’s Music.apk with a huge list of widget options with artwork!
-Updated AnderWeb’s AlmostNexus launcher with “drag and hold on recycle bin to delete application.”
-Added Spareparts back
-New boot screen
-Added a lot more, but as usual I would rather you flash it and find all the new changes yourself. =)
-Should be able now to flash from a clean wipe.Thanks to everyone who allowed me to use some of their work…You rock, you know who you are!

This ROM is amazing, very fast and visually appealing. scores a 2.7 linpack benchmark for me overclocked. pretty good for the g1.

I’ve just sold my HTC Magic. I no longer have a toe-hold in the G1/Magic world. *sigh*.
But the new Nexus One is diong very nicely.

I am running fasttest not a big fan of the new release or the 2.X browser. How does this compare in speed and stability? Do I have to wipe comeing from fasttest? Thanks

@Josh, compared to FastTest this is soo much better and smoother. The ROM handles smoothly. I would recommend this, this also has the nexus “dots” and “tray” the tray moves and loads smoothly. I enjoy this ROM alot

It wont install for me, I get a symlink error.

Getting the symlink error too, guys. Trying to come from CM 4.2.15.1 with a wipe.

The thing with htcclay’s roms lately is they are legal again, so maybe thats giving some people problems since they might not have a good base flashed. CM’s are legal so if you run a CM theres no reason you cant run this. i was running clay’s CSDI remix and wiped, and wiped dalvik, and have no problems. after setting up swap/compcache and setCPU i am now running 3.5linpack scores, which is really good for a g1. This ROM is just stupid with its stability and speed. its worth it to get it running

And as always, if all else fails, wipe everything. this also might require the DANGER spl….if it has a superD base it shouldnt, but i cant confirm if it does or doesnt. Clay is also pretty good at helping if you get him on twitter,.

I can confirm that this ROM requires Haykuro’s SPL. I had the issue, flashed the radio and SPL, tried again and it worked.
