If you still have not received your 1.3 update you can manually start the update. Hit “Library” and then tap the “Check for B&N updates” option.
Some of the new features include:
- Wifi is improved so now you can surf on more hot-spots.
- Faster page turns which is a much needed improvement.
- Brings apps to the Nook and a Web browser.
It seems that the whole update speeds the Nook up all around.
