HTC is starting to feel like one of those people that constantly make apologizes over little things. After a while, you just want them to shut up and put up. Their sorrys are making the rounds over the repeated delays of the 2.1 upgrade for HTC Hero, from TechRadar:
“The integration of Éclair on the HTC Hero took longer to develop than anticipated and we apologise for this delay. We are committed to meeting our customers’ demand for this update.”
HTC is now looking at June for an upgrade release. At least it’s something to look forward to, unlike all of us still holding a G1 or Magic.

I believe this is Sprints fault. I also believe this is planned. By the time they release 2.1 most people will have switched to a EVO or something better then the HERO. They better be careful though…I’m a Sprint long timer and I’m ready to jump ship….real ready.
