Android 2.1 a.k.a Eclair for Sprint Android phones has been in the pipeline from a long time, but not any more. The leaked image appeared on XDA Forums indicating that the update for Samsung Moment is coming out on April 30, and for Sprint Hero one week later.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, The download is not available at this time. The link that was specified below takes you to the Samsung site where only the previous update from Feb 19th is available. Sorry for getting your hopes up!
The 2.1 update for the Samsung Moment is out and you can download it from Sprint.com/download. Yes, it’s an OTW (over the wire) update. Simply connect your phone to your computer, download the file and install it on your phone. The file is almost 86 Mb. The update for the Sprint Hero is not out yet but it should be available this week.

I just checked, its NOT on Sprint.com and last night I read another website saying it was available on XDA forums and its not there either. I just wish people would check and make certain of things before posting it on the web and making my blood pressure shoot up with excitement that my Moment is finally getting its 2.1!

These guys are bloggers looking to get more traffic. They aren’t working for any company nor do they know anything that isn’t published on some other site. 2.1 updates have been rumored for months by folks who get a screenshot in an email. They have no way to confirm but they publish the information like it’s fact.
Until I get a notice on my phone, I won’t/can’t believe anything these blogs say. I just come for the links to Roms

It’s spelled “you’re” when you are contracting you and are.
There is no reason to capitalize ‘Your’ in your quote as it is neither a proper noun, nor is is the beginning of a sentence.
Punctuation that ends a sentence within quotes belongs within the quotation marks of said quote.
Proper form: “you’re wrong dude.”
Don’t worry about paying me right now, I’ll send you a bill for the education later.
