Information is still developing, but it appears that Android site AllDroid has closed down as has their Twitter account.
Additionally, there are some Twitter comments pointing to this URL that gives slightly more information:
Its gone and forever will be. Nor the name, content or anything from that site will no longer be around. People are saying its because of money and it was never from the start nor at the end. Want to know really why its gone? The other Admins who think they ran it who where just back end people. They forced people out and caused to much drama. This was a full time job and it went to fair… The drama I was having to deal with everyday made the choice easy.
The whole High School shit that was going on was and is pathetic so it had to end so I did that. Why I did send out an email to admins and a couple other people to see if they wanted to buy was strictly to keep the site around. For those who said it was about the money I’ve already had a couple offers to buy site and I’ve said no. The content nor the name can be used any more and I’ve already contacted my lawyer about this and will and go after all those who try and use it for there own gain(money). This community needs to grow up and realize thats its not a high school, most the Dev’s are in there 20’s and 30’s and don’t want to deal with the bullshit crap people do. If you look at those who pull shit you’ll also realize they are in high school and need to grow up. Will AllDroid be around any more? NO. case closed.
We’ll update once we get a better understanding of what happened.

There is no missunderstanding. AllDroid is gone. The admin team that was running the site day to day was causing to much drama. The users where only causing drama. I got tired of emails one after another about someone causing drama so I ended it. Maybe this will get the community to realize it needs to wake up and mature if it wants to continue. Specially since there isn’t any development going on with the Droid anyways all they do is steal from the nexusone developers and don’t give credit. I do ask that, that first part of story be taken down as that is not from the owner but by someone on the admin team that quit because he was just doing this for money. Thank You

You are a f**king c*nt Brent! Alldroid was my number one site to visit. I got all my ROMs and themes there and I was even getting into some development work myself that I was looking forward to sharing on the site. In case you hadn’t noticed I’m really pissed. You are a spineless piece of sh*t. I can’t believe you closed the site just because of some users bickering and talking smack. That happens everywhere. If you’re that much of a loser, take a hatchet and cut your balls of now and go live as a eunuch in the woods somewhere so you can’t poison the rest of society.
He is the owner and those are his rights, I understand them completely as my experiences on that site were sometimes unpleasant. The forums were full of punk ass kids to like talking shit, a lot of them are know it alls and anytime I’d see simple questions posted, a young buck was always quick to respond and make the poster feel stupid.

Even just notifying us users in advance wouldve been respectable. Its in my opinion that you went through this in the wrong way brent. If you had troubles with the admins then get rid of them. Your an admin, show em the ban hammer. But no instead yo decided to F**k your loyal users and basicly told them to piss off. Despite what you say. Well I am rather annoyed as I donated to the site – an NO ONE bothered to contact the people that had donated, that the site was closing?!
Where is all the information for Milestone? Just gone because people are arguing on the internet….
So now I am getting PayPal to get me a refund – just letting you know as I HAVE NOT received anything for the donation other than a ‘screw you’ attitude not even a couple of weeks after getting people to donate money to the site – gee sounds like a scam on the surface.
Some of us are indeed in our 30′s and really do not understand a total and utter lack of forewarning for those of us that actually used the site for information, and the complete disregard for your users because of Admin squabbles.
