[VIDEO] MyTouch 3G Slide Video Review

mytouch-slide

The guys over at WireFly had their hands on the soon to be launched T-Mobile MyTouch 3G slide.  They’ve created a 13 minute review of the device. The conclusion seems to be that they really like it.

Quote:

Slated to slide into T-Mobile’s ever-expanding Android lineup in June, the myTouch 3G Slide is the obvious successor to its older sibling, sporting a full physical sliding QWERTY keyboard along with a number of enhancements including a custom user interface dubbed Espresso. Although our time with the myTouch 3G Slide was relatively fleeting, we did come away impressed on the whole.

Take a look at the video review below:

This would be great if it had a faster processor instead of the old Qualcomm. Come on people move forward not backward

It’s the same hardware as the Legend, but with a physical keyboard. It does use a Qualcomm processor, but it’s a newer design and runs at 600MHz. Just watching the video you can tell that the phone is way more responsive than the old MT3g. I’d say this is a definite move forward, not backwards. Still, I’ll probably get a Nexus when I can actually go to T-Mobile and pick one up. Nice looking mid-grade Android phone, though. I also really like the Slide UI, been playing around with it on my MT3g for a little while. It’s a lot like Sense, but there are a lot of little tweaks to the interface.
