Froyo is spreading. Do you have it?

Froyo is spreading. With the release of the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update for the Google Nexus One yesterday, top developers are actively working to get Froyo on to existing Android devices. Is Froyo available on your device? Well, we know that it’s on the Google Nexus One and Cyanogen released a patch that gave you root access. We’ve seen it on the T-Mobile G1 ported from the Android SDK by chiefz.reloaded and now being actively worked on from the Nexus One update. Zenulator has just released a port for the HTC Hero CDMA.

I was going to write up a full preview/review of the Nexus One update, unfortunately a hardware issue on my phone is preventing that from happening.

I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say that Froyo will be coming to a device near you soon.
