Mochi Media Announces “Froyo” Friendly Gaming Website

Mochi Media announced the launch of an optimized mobile site of Adobe® Flash games for the Android mobile platform. M.Mochigames.com will utilize Adobe Flash Player 10.1 to allow Flash games to be played on the Android 2.2 mobile platform. Mochi Media, The world’s largest browser based game network will allow “Froyo” users to play 25 browser based games on launch.

“The introduction of Flash to Android will open up a world of opportunity for Flash game developers,” said Jameson Hsu, co-founder and CEO of Mochi Media. “Through Mochi Media’s mobile site, our developer community will now have access to a whole new audience of gamers through the medium of mobile. We’re extremely excited about the great things to come, both for Mochi Media, and also its developer community.”

“The Flash game development community continually pushes the boundaries of what is possible with Flash,” said Ricky Liversidge, vice president, Product Marketing, Flash Platform at Adobe. “With the beta completion of Adobe Flash Player 10.1, sites like MochiGames are expanding the countless opportunities for developers to engage with consumers through mobile.”
