After the rom loads up on your device REBOOT FIRST then after restart is complete go directly to setcpu
SetCpu Speeds: Min (245) Max (528)
AFTER THAT YOUR SET!
If you experience widget issues on first boot just clear data on HTC Sense app and you should be fine after that.

I get this when trying to flash it on my G1. Ive tried to redownload and reflash several times.
E: can’t symling /system/bin/start
E: failure at line 13:symlink toolbox SYSTEM:bin/start
Installation aborted
I may already know my problem but if anyone has a better idea let me know.
It says for top speed ext4 is required. Im at ext 3 and I was just wanting to test this out. is ext 4 required for just top speed or to flash it at all.

Steve i flashed it and it was successful. I Partitioned my SD like this 256MB Swap & 1024MB EXT 4.

upgraded to ext 4 and still had the same error at line 13. wiped and repaired. now I have error at line 7.

I rebooted and reflashed and it worked. Must be ext 4. if you get error at line 7 then reboot and reflash.

That’s right. It has to be EXT 4 with 256MB Swap. I am using Helix Launcher with this + i Tweaked the Inner memory with Auto Memory Manager. Running like a smooth ROM with everything working fine.

Did exactly what you recommended. Still moved slowly. I didn’t change my swap because I have a 1.50GB swap with 1.50GB Partition. with 5.0GB left on root EXT 4 with setCPU.

It looks nice. took forever to get it configured. Its worth checking out but its not going to be your daily. Great work!!!

Yeah It looks very nice but just a little to slow for me I’lll stick with superbad, like Dre said it moved much better once auto memory manger was installed so now I wanna try it on superbad lol. Thanks for the update.

Kiyo I use to partion my swap and EXT like that, but when you swap is over 288MB it seems the superuser lags and sync @ setup seems to not highlight Google Account. When I switched my Swap to 96MB and EXT 4 1280MB, I got no force closes or anything. Your swap is very important and need not be to over 288MB I recommend!! Good luck Kiyo.

This ROM seems SOOOOOOOO slow, maybe I’m missing something, but so far I have the overclock kernel, I have ext 4 and I have a swap partition, but it still takes a good 20 seconds to open something as simple as messaging.

All I have to say is ‘WOW”. Great rom. It does lag in many areas but wow is it eye candy. I hope Chiefz can update the rom to make it run nice and fast!!!!
