Today Acer has officially unveiled the Acer Stream, previously seen at Google I/O, to their Acer Liquid line of Android phones. Acer Stream is a nice phone, featuring a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, and it comes with Android 2.1 and a custom Acer UI, running on a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It also has a 5 Megapixel camera, which is capable of recording 720p HD video, and it will also have a HDMI output to hook up with your HDTV.
No word release date yet, but I can give you a price. The device will be around $400-500 retail, and with contract you will be able to pick it up for $100-150.
Over all it’s a good multimedia phone. If you love recording videos or watching movies on your phone, then it’s for you. Have a look on the video demo of the phone after the break:

Nah… I’d say a multimedia person would want an Evo instead. For watching movies and recording video, the Evo’s hardware is much better.

I had an Acer Liquid A1. It was a *very* capable phone for a reasonable price. I sold it when I got my Nexus One, but the N1 cost a lot more than the Liquid.
