Forget checking the Android Market for this app, as Sirius XM has opted to distribute this app from their official website. You can click here to sign up your email to get the app sent directly to your email or using your Android browser and click ”Download The App.” They stated previously that the app would only be available for devices running 2.1 or above, but I’m not sure how they are going to restrict that with this direct apk, but it looks like this version is good to go for 1.5 on up so download away.
If you aren’t a current Sirius XM subscriber you get a 7 day trial to see what you think of the 120 channels available to you — when the trial period ends the monthly subscriptions run from $6.99 to $19.99. If you are a current subscriber you will need the internet add-on feature for 2.99/mo available through Sirius XM if you do not already have this feature.

Sirius XM website lists support for the Droid Incredible, Droid Eris, Hero, G1 and Nexus One. It also makes mention of “other Android smartphones” which comes with the note that “the application should function that something cool
