In USA, we are not lucky enough to get the HTC Desire exclusively from any US carrier, but we are lucky that we have the Nexus One. The people over in the UK are super lucky, they got both the Google Nexus One and the HTC Desire. I think the Desire has been too in the UK. O2 UK is saying that they are out of the Desire, which means that they sold a lot. It also means that the HTC Desire is a really popular phone in the UK, and it’s the desire of every single person to buy it. Well, I think the reason is the contract. You can get the phone from O2 UK for free by paying £99, but not now because it’s out of stock.
The Desire is also available on Vodafone UK for free, but you have to pay minimum £29.38 monthly.
So what’s the situation of the HTC Desire in USA? We saw U.S.Cellular saying that they will announce the HTC Desire in July, I hope they will fulfill their promise. If you don’t have patience, you can order the unlocked one. You can order your HTC Desire from Expansys.usa, Amazon, Htcphones, and Newegg (currently out of stock).
