Canadians rejoice! Rob Bruce, president of Rogers’ communications business, spoke today at the Canadian Telecom Summit in Toronto. Besides talking about Apple, he did have a bit of a teaser for the Android crowd:
There’s lots of Android product coming from handset makers including Motorola Inc. and HTC Corp.
While Mr. Bruce declined to give more specific information, Motorola and HTC are two of the top Android designers right now; pretty much anything currently available would also be popular in Canada. There is also the possibility Rogers’ might introduce something completely new.
Rogers’ also revealed their last quarter new subscriptions were less than expected, having a knockout product would certainly help with that.
So Canuks, what phone, current or TBA, would you love to see?
