I know that you have most likely seen some sort of battle between the Sprint HTC Evo 4G and the Apple iPhone 4 already on the web, well this latest video from Wirefly, to me, offers a little more. The video runtime is just over 11 and a half minutes long and shows a great comparison of the two devices as they face off in Wirefly.com’s Cellphone Schmackdown.
In the red corner, Sprint’s HTC Evo 4G. In the blue corner, AT&T’s Apple iPhone 4
As Apple unveiled the iPhone 4, I was genuinely impressed with the craft and engineering that took place. Since then, after more and more of these videos have been released of an Android device vs. the iPhone 4, I want to faceplam myself for ever thinking that about the iPhone.

I wish this guy could stop adjusting the phones for 4 seconds. So distracting.

I don’t know why they’re even comparing these two devices. There’s no real comparison.

Commenting from my evo now, multitasking is handled beautifully on Android. The iPhone implementation looks tedious. Also the iPhone 4′s screen is too small for that high a resolution in my opinion.

I agree with these comments, there is absolutely no comparison. The iPhone looks like alien technology compared to the EVO. The double tap only exacerbates the fact, I mean nobody’s trying to dance a jig here, particularly while avoiding possible lightening strikes. LOL. I wouldn’t give my EVO up for the world.

The Evo has a bunch of built in apps that run constantly that you can not really kill. I will be looking for a way to terminate these things since the battery is not quite up to the task. That being said – it kicks the Iphone’s ass.

Great write up. The iPhone is truly amazing and I don’t like being without it. This time last year I had jumped in a pool with my iPhone and it was dead. I had to wait 10 days before I was able to purchasea new one. The phone I had was a cheap go phone. I really love all the apps that can be downloaded to the iPhone. The best part about the iPhone to me is the ability to check emails on the fly. Thanks for the information.
