We saw lot of companies making phones specially for women, like Sony Ericsson, Jalou is a phone specially for ladies. But some ladies love Android more than their boyfriends, so for these ladies there should be a special Android powered phone that is only for them. The only manufacturer that understands that is Pantech. Pantech officially launched their second Android powered device known as Crystal de Izar IM-A630K. The bottom of the phone is made of glass (or maybe crystal), and the interesting thing about this is that it can light up in different colors.

The phone features Android 2.1, 3.2 inch WVGA touchscreen display, Bluetooth, T-DMB TV tuner, and a 5MP photo camera. The phone ships with 4GB microSD card. Don’t get too excited, because it’s not shipping with any makeup kit or a free ticket to Hawaii.

Well, the good news is that the handset will receive Android 2.2 very soon, and the bad news is that the handset is only going to hit South Korean carrier KT in July. No words on when it’s coming to rest of the world.

Why the heck do there have to be phones made for ladies. I am happy with my android phone, and I do not need some frilly phone that probably will not even live up to the other android phones on the market. I think this is just silly.
