htcclay has released an update to SuperBadCM5 now at version 1.7.
SuperBadCM5 1.7 Stable
Based off of Cyanogenmod-5 For Dream/Magic 5.0.8 Stable
-Added New MT and OC kernel (up to 850MHz) Install SetCPU from Market to change and or adjust CPU speeds.
-Added New Chromatic Script for efficiency and (hopefully) better battery.! All in one…(Thanks Chromer!)
-Added ADW`s latest launcher.apk (Good Stuff!)
-Everything should be working now…Gallery 3D, Voice Search, etc…
-A lot more!

Nice thanks as far as I can tell you need to wipe for the fixes ie. voice search I did fix_permissions but no go guess I’ll have to wipe oh well…

Why do you say that you can set the cpu up to 850mhz? Your phone will probably explode. The only stable overclock I was able to reach was 576mhz. Unless I’m doing something wrong? Love the rom though. Hope when cyanogens froyo comes out you make your own version shortly after

I’m also running 728mhz on my touch 1.2 and it is very stable. I’m also running jit and am getting a linpack score of 4.8 and a Neo score of 22.7fps. I think this is a winner.

is anyone having battery problems with CM5? i fully charge and it goes to 50% rather quick also if i use skyfire browser the phone just dies not even a red battery light. Any help?

Yes I think a lot of people were having battery issues. This build seems slightly better so Im still not sure whats causing the drain. Doesn’t make much of a difference if I overclock or not battery drain was the same.
