In what comes as the first blow from the Droid X, the K.O. is coming on July 15th. In a full page advertisement in The New York Times today shows off the next member of the Droid series.

“And most importantly, it comes with a double antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like…”

A hard hit from Motorola and is this a head shot to Apple or a body shot of the man himself. Who knows? One thing is for sure, July 15th is right around the corner.

What is this insanity people have with front facing cameras? I don’t understand why people want that so bad. I can guarantee video chatting will never catch on.Not enough people want to communicate like that. Sure it’s a neat trick but it will never evolve beyond that.
