CDMA Samsung Galaxy i899 Lands In India

A CDMA Android handset was previously non-existent in India, until now that is. The Samsung Galaxy i899 is the first Android device with a CDMA radio for use with India’s largest carriers. As you can see by the image below, Reliance has already staked their claim on the device.

Specs of the Samsung Galaxy i899 include:

3.2-inch AMOLED display
320×480 Resolution
3.2-megapixel camera
800MHz processor

While this device doesn’t rock similar specs found on the Galaxy S family, this device is sure to hold its weight and could pave the way for future CDMA Android devices in India.
