The Motorola Charm is not the Android superphone that most of you were expecting for T-Mobile, but people are still excited about this device. The fully exposed keyboard gives it a Blackberry look, but with the punch of any other Android device. The Charm has been advertised on T-Mobile’s Back to School promotion as this device is obviously pitched to the younger, social media crowd.
Unfortunately for T-Mobile, there are battery issues that might be detrimental to T-Mobile’s Back to School launch. Motorola is said to be offering extended batteries for the Motorola Charm when the device launches, but there is no official word whether or not these extended batteries will be discounted at the time of purchase. Be weary Motorola Charm buyers.

Y’know, I had gotten back just a little bit of faith in Motorola when the Cliq and the Droid launched. Now its software delays, and a new phone that they somehow didn’t notice had crap for battery life until the month it was set to launch. The Sidekick Slide keeps popping into my head. They do seem to give Verizon the better phones, which pisses me off to no end. Oh well, I’m ordering the Vibrant in 2 days.

They set a March upgrade date which was never kept then a end of Q2 which wasn’t kept either, now they mention the charm the first phone with android 2.1 and motoblur gee wasn’t that supposed to be the update I was promised in Januarary? Beware back to school buyers stick with htc because Motorola does not live up to their mission statement.

so i am on my 5th motorola cliq holding out for the sixth to arrive.. Sad and i need to say i’m very unhappy with the replacements ive been getting, keyboards not lighting up, the display cracking , turning off unexpectedly, being extreamly hot when charging..etc.. ive just had the worst luck with this mobile phone.. they presented me the brand new dash and the new blackberry.. but i really like the versatility of this phone so significantly that im attempting to look past it.. i just want to know if anybody else is having these problems with replacements.. or just in general.
