Don’t say we didn’t warn you. If you’re the procrastinating type, or just deciding now that you want a Droid X, you still have a few options available.

If you want a Droid X in your hands ASAP, your best bet is to call around to your local Verizon stores to see if they have any in stock. While this will put a shiny new Droid in your hands possibly today, you’re also going to be paying the most at $199.99 for a new activation.

If you can stand to wait a few days and save some money while you’re at it, check out the AndroidSPIN Wirefly store. As of this posting, quantities are limited, but if you can get one you’ll be paying about $20 less than Verizon’s price, and you get free FedEx shipping.

Finally, your last option is to try Amazon’s wireless store. No word on their stock levels, but you’ll always get free 2-day shipping with new activations.

Happy hunting! Oh, and try not to be such a slacker next time okay?
