  7. @ Adam your a fucking idiot the nexus one is running the fastest processor available there’s no other phone on the market to this day with a processor bigger than the nexus. Do your researching before you say shit. Until they come out with a phone bigger than I gig. Than why would you wanna switch phones just because a new android phone comes out with the same specs. Not only that its the phone that has the most rooted roms for it. And it has the 3rd largest screen on the market and the best screen quality. Your probably rockin that week ass evo that looks and feels like a brick LOL

@Cambra, first off, that is completely uncalled for. Some people have different needs and desires when they buy phones. Some people want the best phone in the market, others are perfectly happy with an older phone.

Second, he does raise a good point, the Nexus One is already 6 months old, which is pretty old when you consider how fast the smart-phone market evolves.

Third, if you must call anyone and idiot, call yourself one. The processor in the Nexus One is not the fastest in the market. The TI OMAP CPU found in the Droid X is way faster, and so is the Hummingbird found in all the Galaxy S phones. Even other QSD models are faster than the QSD found in the Nexus, although very slightly. I have no problem with you not knowing this stuff, but it really is not cool to attack others when you have no information to back it up.

  8. @ Adam there’s a new android devise being released every other week go get em you don’t want them to get old. The specs are all the same rooted nexus kills all android phones. Old but hasn’t lost its value

  13. @baratha you make no fuckin sense android phones come out dam near every other week. So your saying your ganna go buy a new one when it comes out just cause its new your restarted. And smart Guy you weren’t aware I work for T-Mobile. I no it has a humming bird processor. In speed test the nexus killed it that’s what I’m getting at. So get your facts straight. The galaxy ran 8 mflops well the nexus ran 40. Fuck Verizon’s weak ass (Droid) phones there ugly and cheap made. So stay the fuck out of my buisness. Nerd

    • Barath Balu

@cambra I see that T-Mobile really doesn’t set any standards for the people they hire. The Nexus one is a great phone, but its not the best. Its 6 months old, and there are other phones that are much better. Some people are fine with the Nexus, like me, and other want the best newest phone in the market.

Second, you are mistaken, the Nexus One runs a QSD processor, not even the best QSD. If you don’t believe me, look here: http://www.google.com/phone/static/en_US-nexusone_tech_specs.html

Third, the Nexus gets 40 MFLOPs because its running Froyo. Put Froyo on a Galaxy S phone, and it will get similar, if not bettter, results.

MFLOPs are not even a full overview of performance either. A floating point operation is just one type of operation. Its basically numeric operations. There are also other functions that you need a GPU for, like pushing pixels, or rendering 3D graphics. Having a good GPU will let the CPU devote more cycles to other tasks.

How does it feel to get pwned by a 15 year old?

  14. Oh and by the way just because there making so many android devices so fast means you have to go get one everytime its released get a clue. Your to caught up inn this fucked up world of phones. Go by something more important than a new android device that gets released every other day smart Guy LOL

By the way http://www.androidcentral.com showed that the TI OMAP owns the Evo/Incredible Snapdragon. Check out the video on there site bam research FTW.
