Earlier we reported that battery issues might delay the launch of the Motorola Charm. TMOnews has an internal image showing that the device with the date “8/25″ under it. The better news is that another color for the Motorola Charm will be available, so if you’re not a fan of the Cabernet color of the device, they will be offering a golden bronze version of the Motorola Charm.

Battery issues plagued the device’s previous launch date and so the release has been pushed back until August 25th. On a good note, Motorola is said to be offering an extended battery for the device with a discounted price (hopefully free), to make sure that consumers are confident in their mobile investment.
