The Motorola Droid 2 hasn’t really been much of a secret lately and the image above shows what’s in store for this device in the coming days. We are assuming that the numbers to the far left of the image are the actual dates, which shows the device being officially announced on August 10th. In the announcement it appears that the official launch date and pricing will made public and that this device will sent to reporters for review. The 10th also states that the device will be active and available, but will not be “merchandised” in stores.
August 11th looks like the “online only” pre-sale of this device followed by the official launch where the device will be available to consumers on August 12th. With the Motorola Droid 2 launch, Verizon will start its marketing for the device and if it is anything like the Droid X launch, we’ll all be in for a treat.
