I have not noticed any particular battery drain problem with FB on my Nexus One. I’m using the desktop widget also. Certainly, battery life on the Nexus One is no different to how it has been previously. I am running Android 2.2 – wondering if that makes any difference.

FB definitely reduced my Incredible’s battery life. Typically the awake time for me is 2.5 to 4hrs out of 15 during the day. Today the awake time was 11.5 out of 15.
Nice to hear that the FB Android developers have acknowledged the problem and are working on a fix. Kudos to the team.

I’ve noticed a big difference in my battery life. Barely used my phone today and its almost dead. I also noticed my awake time is thru the roof. Couldn’t figure out why my battery life suddenly sucked but I think its the new FB.
