Samsung Gem

It looks like the Motorola Droid 2 and the Samsung Fascinate aren’t the only devices coming soon to Verizon, as the image above shows off the Samsung Gem with obvious Verizon branding. This device looks to be an entry-level Android device. All we know about the it is that it will feature Samsung’s Touchwiz UI and an unknown Android OS. We’ll just assume it’s running Android 2.1 and that the Gem is expected to launch in early September, followed by Verizon’s Galaxy S variant, the Samsung Fascinate. I guess we’ll just have to wait for information about the Gem, until it gets a little closer to launch.
