htcclay has released a new ROM for the Dream/G1 called Superfly TCBY. The released version is 1.1.

-Added A2SD (Should be working fine…if not sh /system/etc/fr-patch134.txt should work.
-Added Car Home
-Lock home in memory added to CMParts!

[+] Same location to disable swap from terminal emulator type su sh /system/etc/fr-patch134.txt rev swap
* No live wallpaper (A.K.A. 3D fix)
-Added Chromer`s SuperDuper Script.
-Much, much more…This thing is running very quickly for froyo.

I hope someone figures out how to get apps2ext into froyo roms like it is in the enclair roms so we wont have to worry about doing these commands and for them to stop working from time to time.
M using it since last nite …freaking fast.
but the main problem m facing it with the market…whever i tried FROYO before on my G1 I am unable to install apps from the market they are still on “DOWNLOADING…” status. I donno wot to do with this problem.
Is FIX_PERMISSIONS going to slove this.?
and my browser is also not working displaying msg like “page cannot be found”.
before flashing this ROM i just WIPE the data and FLASH it.

Its ok but the apps2sd still doesn’t work correctly it alwys starts to go back to installing on the internal memory even after running the code. I think I will just wait for a final complete version of froyo that finally has app2sd(ext) working like it did in enclair.

I don’t use any since I switched to Froyo. The one you can download from the link above is the fastest I’ve used so far.

i love this rom i got the mytouch 3g and it is running very smooth….will keep as default rom
only problem i had was the camera but i went to rom manager and
clicked on fix permisions then i rebooted and boom just like
that the camera works now thanks for this great rom

@313dash.. as far as apps2sd go i never did use i dont feel the need to on mt3g. I have all the apps i need and still have over 250mb left phone storage. I dont use swap either. But im sure a2sd works if firerat was involved.

For as many downloads as this has had there are far tpo few comments about this rom. I wonder if that’s the case for most rom release pages? My first impression is its freaking fast. The rom is waaay more stable (we will see if that holds up over time as most roms tend to have a short lifespan before the bugs creep in) and so responsive it worries me that it may be too good to be true. I find the overall asthetic layout to be appealing. Especially the keyboard, its bigger and more stable than keyboards in the past few roms I’ve used. Overall this is by far the best rom I have used to date on the mytouch.

after installing the rom I am really happy with it. fast and stable.
The only problem is that I can not get the facebook to work.
After entering the user and pas I get error:
“an error has occurred during the sign in please try again later”
I tried the old version and the latest from market and the result is the same.
It does not matter if I am connected to wifi/3G or not, I get the same error with correct or wrong pass. But I can login to my facebook via facebook touch app.
any help?

This ROM is awesome. I love how HT always gives us such an elegant GUI with color icons and a polished, sophisticated look w/o compromising on speed and stability.
As far as Facebook goes (behzad) they have an update fix for the error as it was a design flaw on F.B.’s side.

what is eating up all my memory? I have MT3G running Superfly v1.1 I have swap off, compcache on and launcher in memory. when i go to running services, it shows at the bottom, other:51MB in 4 and

I love is ROM. It’s the fasted and best looking one I’ve used thus far…and I’ve used quite a bit. The only issues i have are; no blinking trackball with text notifications like on most donut ROMs, market downloads seem a bit glitchy, and there seems to be some sort of loop effect with my facebook and twitter apps. Other than that its great and I can deal with glitches bc my phone is super fast now n i luv it.
