Over at Phandroid, they received a tip in the form of a screenshot issuing a recall of T-Mobile branded Samsung Behold II devices. While on the surface this isn’t much, the tipster says these types of emails go out only when a device has reached the end of its life.
Given the Behold was never one of the more popular devices, its age, and the fact it will never be upgraded past OS 1.6, it does seem appropriate to make room for the new Android phones that will be appearing in the coming months. There is one bright spot for the Behold II however, just because it will be gone from T-Mobile, doesn’t mean it’s the last we’ve heard of it.

Not how it works El Guapo. It just means T-Mo stores are sending the devices to the warehouse.
But also, good riddance.
