Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 Passes Through FCC

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is a 3 inch, Android 1.6 device, and the images of this device are courtesy of the FCC. If the images don’t do anything for you, how about the user manual? This is still the quad-band GSM HSPA device featuring WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS and an FM radio. Sony Ericsson devices have that heavily customized user interfaced atop the stock Android UI which some prefer over other UI’s like HTC Sense or Samsung’s TouchWiz. There’s no detail on availability or which carriers this device might land on just yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out. Judging by the recent X10 launch on AT&T, that carrier has the advantage so far.
