Google Voice Widgets Coming on T-Mobile G2

As you can see in the image above, Google Voice will soon have widgets that can be placed on your homescreen. This version of Google Voice that I’m currently using is v0.4.1.19 which I have extracted out of the T-Mobile G2 system dump. As you can see, the Google Voice Settings widget gives you four shortcuts, which are:

Go to inbox
Compose a message
Change call settings: use for all calls, do not use for calls, international calls only and ask for every call.
Do not disturb toggle switch

The settings widget also lets you keep up with your account balance. This settings feature isn’t much, but it definitely aids users who frequent Google Voice services. The other widget that you see above is called Google Voice Inbox, because well, that’s what it does. It’s a straight shot to your inbox to easily view old messages or simply to hit up those unread ones.
