Mobile Editing Coming Soon to Google Docs

1

While Google is currently celebrating great performance and growth, they have also announced that a new version of Google Docs will be available soon that allows your Android device to synchronize with your Google Docs account and allow for mobile editing.

“Second, today we demonstrated new mobile editing capabilities for Google Docs on the Android platform and the i*ad. In the next few weeks, co-workers around the world will soon be able to co-edit files simultaneously from an even wider array of devices.”

They mentioned that the Apple iPad will soon be receiving this added functionality as well, but failed to mention the iPhone. It’s unclear if the mobile site will be updated or if there is an application in the works. Whatever the case, we’re pretty excited! Android FTW!

Which would you all prefer?
